A Graduate of Trenton State College (now The
College of New Jersey) in the early 1980’s earning two degrees, a Bachelor
of Science degree in Industrial Arts Education, and a second Bachelor of
Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
In 1983, soon after securing his second college degree, John entered the
work force as a building/home inspector dividing his time between one of the
largest home inspection companies in New Jersey, and its parent franchising
organization. In that 22 year or so time period John honed his skills as a
building/home inspector, business manager, environmental specialist,
classroom instructor, and key technical support for franchise owners. John
also served as the Director of The National Institute of Building Inspectors
(NIBI), a well respected home inspector training institute, from January
1999 through January 2005.
He is a National Institute of Building Inspectors (NIBI) certified home
inspector, and a member of ESA (Environmental Solutions Association). John
is currently certified/licensed in New Jersey as a Home Inspector, a Radon
Specialist, and a Commercial Certified Pesticide Applicator. John has also
secured additional independent certifications for mold testing, in-depth
furnace heat exchanger evaluations, fireplace safety inspections, and has
attained a Professional Environmental Inspector designation.
