XTRAS Evaluation & Testing Services, LLC knows that for a variety of
reasons owning, buying, or selling a home has become more and more
complicated over the years. No doubt performance of quality
building/home inspections and related ancillary services has become a
significant and integral part of the home buying/selling process.
However, these days there is as much of a need for technical guidance
and expertise after the sale, during home ownership.
Many issues can develop or become apparent after closing. High up on the
list of potential issues are those related to moisture intrusion (e.g.
mold, decay, wood destroying insects, etc). These issues have become
more prominent and complicated, and require specialized attention by
qualified professionals. In addition, state and local governments are
now proposing, and in some cases already dictating, requirements for the
home buying/selling process. A prime example of a present requirement
